Priscilla Faia : Chief Play Muse
Priscilla was born and raised in Victoria, BC, a true island gal. She fell in love with acting at eight years old — somewhere between playing make-believe and realizing that storytelling could actually change people.
By her twenties, she’d packed her bags for Vancouver, chasing the dream with equal parts grit and curiosity. Her early years brought memorable guest roles on True Justice, Psych, and The Seed, before landing her breakout role as Chloe Price on ABC’s Rookie Blue. Her work earned her a few nominations including a Canadian Screen Award nom.
After four seasons of Rookie Blue, Priscilla went on to play Izzy Silva in You Me Her. A daring, heartfelt dramedy that premiered at SXSW and later found a home on Netflix and Amazon. Her portrayal of Izzy earned her a Leo Award for Best Actress and a mention as an Emmy contender in The Los Angeles Times. Since then, she’s continued to stretch her range with roles in The Good Doctor, Pretty Hard Cases, Fire Country, and Calamity Jane, where her performance as the complex antagonist Abigail won her a UBCP/ACTRA Award for Best Supporting Actress.
But beyond the screen, Priscilla is obsessed with the craft itself. With what it really means to be alive, spontaneous, and truthful as an artist. As a coach and co-founder of The Liberated Actress Playground, she’s on a mission to help actresses reclaim their PLAY! In auditions, on set, and in life. Her approach dissolves the noise of perfectionism and external validation, inviting actors back into the body, the breath, and the joy of creative risk. She believes the best work lives in freedom.
Her method blends emotional honesty, intuitive connection, and deep nervous system awareness to help artists get out of their heads and into their truth. Whether she’s coaching in a group, leading a workshop, or guiding one-on-one sessions, Priscilla creates a space where artists feel free to fail gloriously, laugh deeply, and rediscover the power of their own lens.
When she’s not acting, writing, or coaching, you’ll probably find her somewhere in nature, dancing between projects, riding a horse or plotting her next adventure!
